Our 2026 season club friendlies start this season on Tuesday 28th of April playing Kislingbury at home. In fairness, we normally come second to Kislingbury and this year was no different losing by 15 shots, 63 to 78. Not quite as good as last year when we lost by 7 shots. But it was our first proper match of the season.
The weather was generally good. While the sun was out it was pleasantly warm. However, the cold wind really caused a drop in temperature whenever the sun was hidden., so fleeces on as the match drew to a close.
Everyone enjoyed warming up with a drink in the bar afterwards, with some good conversation as always.
