Rosemary Haddon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Haddon. Rosemary has been a prominent figure in the Heyford community for the past 50 years, during which time she held a variety of roles and responsibilities. Alongside husband Ray, she was a leader of the Cubs, and in 1978 became the first treasurer of the reformed Heyford Cricket Club. As a member of the Village Hall committee, Rosemary helped organise the annual Village Hall Fête, a highlight of the village calendar. Rosemary was a Heyford Singer and Crafty Club member and a long-standing member and Short Mat Club Vice Captain and latterly Captain for the bowls club in the village hall.

The funeral service will take place at Heyford Church at 10.45am on Friday 6th September followed by a gathering at the Village Hall.

Our sincere condolences go to husband Ray, family and friends.
